I have been teaching for over eighteen years.  My students very often show enthusiasm for learning how to play the piano and look forward to each lesson. Some of my pupils have passed with distinction. Private piano tuition is offered to everyone aged 5 and above. Having completed the Jazz teaching course offered again by the A.B.R.S.M., I am able to teach Jazz. The pieces taught range from Baroque, Classical, Romantic to Modern. Additionally pieces by Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Chopin, etc. are learned. Also Folk tunes, repertoire is taught depending on demand. Traditional and nursery songs are included for vairety. Students are initially taught to sing the notes while playing them. This improves learning the notes.
